The main goal of this Notion timesheet template for freelancers is figuring out precisely how much time you spent on each of your to-dos.
While this template is part of our Notion Freelancer Pack, the timesheet template is for everybody's use. Whether you're a freelancer or not, this one's for you!
We tried making this Notion timesheet template as easy to use as possible so that everybody would know how to make changes within the table, which is the main attraction of the template.
Using the template is really easy, as you just have to add the time values, and at the end of each column, Notion's helpful "Calculate" function helps you see how long did it take for you to finish a task.
This is related to the first three parts of the table: the "Name", "Categories" and "Person" sections. So, the first thing you have to do is to add the task's name, then you have to label, and lastly, you have to say who was assigned to this task. These are pretty much the most basic details about the tasks. The most fun part comes next!
This section is the most important one, so double-check if the values you've added in the table are correct, because your timesheet 100% depends on this. By using the "Date" function in Notion, all you have to do is click in the "Start/End time" section and select the date and the time when you started and finished the to-do.
Lastly, here is the part where you get to see how much time you spent on each to-do. This is what we like to call 'impactful part' because the time you spent on a task will affect the way you're going to work in the future. By using the "Formula" tool in Notion, we've managed to calculate the minutes and the hours you spent on each to-do. And then, the last part of the table tells you the precise amount of hours and minutes paid to each task.
