You're now an owner of of the Notion expense tracker template, so you can now fill the tables!
This Notion expense tracker template's main purpose is to make sure that you never forget where did you spend your money and on what did you actually spend that cash.
At the same time, with this monthly income Notion template, you'll also know where did your money come from.
This is a really awesome tool for freelancers that have lots of transactions throughout each month as much as it is an awesome tool for everyone else.
For both the expense and the income sheets, you first have to add the name of the action and the amount of money that the action took. For instance, you can see the mock "Rent $1,000.00" value in the expense sheet, and the "Website project $1,000.00" value in the income sheet. While you can play with the name of these expenses/incomes, we suggest that you don't do that so you can easily keep track of your money.
Aside from the name and the sum of the expense/income, you can (and maybe should) also add a few other details, such as the category (for the expense sheet) or the client (for the income sheet), which means where did your money go to, respectively where did the money come from. Next up, you can also add a comment or a note regarding that money. In order to easily track each payment or income, we recommend adding the date of the transaction at the end of the table.
At the end of each table, you can see the "SUM $..." section. That automatically calculates all of your expense and income values as soon as you add them into the table, within the "# Amount" section. The calculus section is really helpful because it helps you get rid of the manual work with the numbers.
