In order to begin editing, we'll first have to open the template.
We're doing this in order to keep the original aside from the upcoming briefs. To do that, hit the "Duplicate" button in the top-right corner of the page.
Now it's the time when you can modify the template! Give the brief your personal touch.
When we were building this brief freelancer template in Notion, we had a goal in mind: making it easy and useful. Since we build it in Notion, this document is pretty easy to modify.
Therefore, we'd like to help that you'll encounter no issues when it comes to writing your own brief with our template.
Begin with adding stuff about you. Tell people who you are, what you work with, what's your past work experience and for how long you've been in the industry - the more details, the better. Within the first fields, you should be sure that you write everything that you consider useful about yourself and your experience. Then, let people know what's yet to come: drop your thoughts on what your objectives are and what milestones you have in mind.
Now we've reached the part where you have to say something about what happens once you've introduced yourself. Here we recommend adding lots of details about how much money would be allocated to the project, how long would it take to get the work done, and who will work on this project. These are really some essential details.
At the end of the brief, if you have any other thoughts that you couldn't express in any of the previous sections, now's your time. Are there any images, files or maybe questions that you want to add? Write and/or add all of that in this section.
