Back to our Google Domains to Notion custom domain tutorial, the process is really easy, and it shouldn’t take long to add your domain in Notion. Let’s get at it!
How to add a Google custom domain in Notion
To put it shorty, you just need to add Simple.ink’s DNS details within your Google Domain’s DNS, and then wait a little bit for your changes to take place. Super easy!
1. Copy Simple.ink’s DNS details
First things first, go to your Simple.ink website’s “Custom domain” section in the dashboard, and there you’ll be finding the DNS details - they’re standard for all websites built with us.
The highlighted details in the image above have to be copied. To make your job easier, here they are:
- Host/name: @
- Type: A
- Value: 75.75.21.21

2. Google Domains DNS settings
Now you need to go to your websites within Google Domains, as you first need to select the website domain that you want to connect to Notion.
If you’re already logged in, make sure to go to the Google Domains Registrars page and select your preferred domain.
3. Add your details to Google Domains
Now you should see a list with all of your hosts within Google Domains. Click "Manage custom records" in order to add a new one.
We've said "to add a new one", because here you'll need to add Simple.ink's DNS details.
The details that we’ve copied at the first step of the guide have to be pasted into the following section in Google Domains.
Once you’ve added them, be sure to hit the “Save” button.
There you go, that’s your Google Domains to Notion website registrar. It wasn’t so hard getting here, right?
