If you've just built your Notion websites with us, then there is a high chance that you want to add a cookie consent setting to your website. Don't worry, we'll teach you how to do that in this guide.
This guide's example is CookieHub. We're going to teach you everything you need to know to connect CookieHub to Notion websites.
Didn't make your website yet? Let us tell you that building a Notion website is 100% free, and you don't even need to code. Oh, and did we mention it? Our websites are built instantly.
You simply have to add your Notion website's domain to CookieHub - that's all. Whether you have a 'you.com' or a 'you.simple.ink' domain, both options work just fine.
We've started the guide assuming that you've added your domain to CookieHub. Let's get going with the guide!
First of all, go to "My Domains" in CookieHub and click "Details" on the domain of the website that you've built with Simple.ink and Notion.
Upon clicking on "Details", you will get to the "General information" section in the settings.
For the second step, you have to click on "Integration code" in the menu visible on the left side of the screen.
At the "Production" section, you will see this large box full of code. Go ahead and copy all of that code.
To make sure that you're fully copying the code, click anywhere within the box, hit CMD/CTRL + A, and then hit CMD/CTRL + C in order to copy all of the text.
Now you'll have to go to your Simple.ink Dashboard.
Once you've selected your desired website that you want to add the cookies to, go to the "Custom Code" section.
In order to see the screen like in the image above, hit the "Site customization" button and select "Custom Code".
You'll now see the custom code box being empty. Paste the code that you've copied at the previous step.
Pasted your code? Nice! Remember to hit "Save changes" in order for the cookies to show up on your website.
Once you're done adding your code and saving it, go to the public website built with Notion and Simple.ink, and you'll see the CookieHub integration.
As you can see in the image above, the CookieHub to Notion integration works just perfect: now, there is a cookie consent at the bottom of our website built with Simple.ink and Notion. That's pretty nice!
We get it, the guide above may be too long for those of you who don't really have much time. That's why we've made this 30-second CookieHub to Notion guide. Here's what you need to know in order to add CookieHub to your Notion/Simple.ink website:
