Thinking of how you could integrate PayPal into Notion? Then fear not, this is the right place to learn how to do that.
As many of you know, PayPal is one of the most popular payment processors out there, and Notion is one of the most popular no-code apps.
First of all, let's answer the most popular question related to PayPal and Notion.
The answer is yes. You can connect PayPal to Notion by just adding the code of your PayPal checkout button into the Notion website builder.
This was really just the short answer. If you want to see the full story, scroll below.
The process takes 3 simple steps: making your PayPal button, copying its code and then pasting it in the custom code section. Let's start with the beginning!
The first move that you have to do is going to PayPal Buttons. There, you'll have to choose the type of button that you'd later want to be visible within your Notion website.
For this example, we're going to use the first option: the "Smart Buttons" type of button. Feel free to chose the one that you like the most.
Up next, you'll see the section where you have to customise the patch that you'll embed into Notion. To keep this guide simple, we've decided to leave the button the way that PayPal generated it.
Secondly, make sure to click the blue button below the preview of the PayPal embeddable window.
Keep in mind that the Mobile/Desktop selections are just for the preview. You're going to ocpy the same code that'll apply to the mobile and to the desktop versions of the PayPal button.
Head to your Simple.ink dashboard and select your preferred website.
After selecting it, you'll have to expand the "Site customization" menu and select "Custom code".
You'll be on the "Custom code" page once your screen looks like the one in the image above.
To finally integrate PayPal in Notion, you'll have to paste your button's code within the "Add custom code" section.
Remember that after pasting your PayPal button's code, you'll have to click the blue "Save changes" button in order for the button to be visible on your Notion-built website.
Once you've done that, your PayPal button will be 100% visible and functional on your Notion website. Pretty nice!
Yes, we're more than happy to say that you can sell with PayPal in Notion. Once you've integrated the PayPal button with the custom code function, you will be able to sell any of your products within your Notion page.
